Autoilun ja liikumisen tulevaisuus palkinto

Best Finnish technology and service innovations were awarded at the future of mobility event organised by Alma Media, one of the largest Finnish media houses. Amongst total of 40 companies participating with their innovations, Foreca won the 1st price for its worldwide road weather service for automotive and intelligent mobility.

The jury consisting of media, technology and automotive industry experts commended Foreca's winning service concept as a data-based innovation, which improves road safety and has capability to scale globally. They also recognized the fact that the service has already established itself in the market and has notable European automotive companies, like BMW, Daimler, TomTom and Bosch as customers.

"We are grateful for the emerging digital transformation which has opened an opportunity for many innovative Finnish companies to establish themselves into global automotive markets. This has been a team effort all the way; I am really proud of all to hard work put in by our data scientists, developers and meteorological experts. Big thanks also to Business Finland for supporting and helping us to establish our footprint on the competitive automotive market", says Foreca's sales director Petri Marjava.
