PACKAGES

Standard

Wind speed forecasts for specified locations. Clients can calculate their own production forecasts based on the weather forecast data received.

Forecast is provided with one-hour time steps over 48 hours. Features are:

  • Forecasted wind speed at 100m
  • Forecasted temperature at 2m
  • Forecasted air pressure

The temperature forecast is verified and edited (when necessary) by the on-duty meteorologist.

Premium

The premium package provides wind power production forecasts for the specified wind power parks and single turbines.

It includes a static model of the wind power park that takes into account power production curves (provided by the customer) and shadows with a static algorithm. The pricing includes an annual calibration of the algorithm based on the actual production and verification during the past year.

Platinum

The Platinum package provides high quality production forecasts based on our partner's neural network solution, a fully operational standalone wind power forecasting system producing wind power forecasts on a single turbine level as well as accumulated forecasts for the specific portfolio. The system includes a short-term forecasting system of up to 180 hours with hourly updates.

The following additional modules are available:

  • Statistics module
  • RAMP forecasts
  • Management module, for turbine outage and maintenance management

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Technical delivery via the extranet user interface in XML, EDIEL (in Finland) or ASCII format. Automatic delivery to customer is also available.
